George clearly takes pride in what he does, and he assumes full accountability and ownership for the project. His work on our floor boards is particularly impressive, something which he shouldered personally. That legacy is symptomatic of what we now have, which is a house built to our specifications and a high quality finish.

AGN Builders was recommended by an architect who assured me they had a good reputation for building excellence and cared about their clients. I was always informed of problems and progress. Any questions I had were promptly answered, which I always appreciated. I found AGN Builders and their subcontractors to be prompt and polite. Workmanship was always of a high standard. I would recommend George and Andy to anyone considering renovating or building a new home.

We have had a working relationship with George and Andrew Nionakis of AGN Builders since 2007. They have been the main contract builders on a number of our residential projects including homes in Beaumaris, Hampton and Highett. We have found their work to be of a high standard. Both George and Andy work proactively and seek to sort out problems and defects on site before they become a problem. We believe they have a keen eye for detail and an excellent knowledge of common building practice. We are confident working with them on projects up to $1.5 million.

AGN Builders have recently completed a reasonably large renovation project ($600,000) for us in Hampton. The work was quite complex and involved substantial structural components and all trades. We were very happy with the standard of workmanship and the commitment shown by AGN to achieving the architect’s vision and client expectations. The project was completed on time and within budget expectations. I am happy to recommend AGN to carry out similar-sized projects.

My experience with AGN Builders was positive, with both George and Andy being open and honest in their dealings with me, and importantly, remaining flexible in meeting my desire for certain variations during the build process. Whilst only a lay person in contemporary building processes and practices, I believe AGN Builders offered a quality and value for money outcome to my project.

Recently we embarked on an extensive renovation of our Californian Bungalow. It involved doubling the size of our home and included two new bathrooms and a kitchen. AGN builders were enthusiastically focused from day one. Despite some unforeseen difficulties that emerged from our sloping block, they managed to complete a structurally accurate representation of the architect’s plans within a reasonable time frame. They worked well with our architect and kept us informed of the progress. We are continually delighted by our extension. It has proven itself to be a well made, well presented home.
